Goa, June 1 -- A murder case has been registered at the Mormugao Police Station following the death of Rajesh Majhe, a Bihar native, after a violent altercation in Baina, Goa. The incident took place on May 25, 2025, when Rahul Kumar Saini, also from Bihar and residing in Baina, allegedly attacked Majhe with a wooden stick during a fight inside a rented room.

Majhe sustained serious head injuries in the assault and was immediately rushed to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, for treatment. Despite efforts by the medical team, he succumbed to his injuries, prompting police to escalate the case from assault to murder.
