Goa, Jan. 9 -- Bailancho Ekvott president Auda Viegas on Thursday urged the top brass of the Goa Police to intervene in the alleged harassment of a woman police sub-inspector (PSI) by a male police inspector (PI) in South Goa.

Expressing serious concern over the allegations, Viegas said police stations must remain "clean from any stain," as they are institutions where citizens approach for justice and protection. She stressed that any form of misconduct within the police force undermines public trust.
