Goa, Dec. 18 -- An 18-year-old has been arrested by Calangute Police in a gold chain snatching case at Baga. According to police, the incident took place in December when a foreign national residing at a guest house reported that his gold chain was forcibly snatched. The chain weighed approximately 20 grams and was valued at nearly Rs 2.40 lakh. Acting on leads, police arrested the accused from Belgaum, Karnataka, and recovered the stolen property. The case was registered at Calangute Police Station and further probe continues.
