MAPUSA: BAFF came back strongly from one goal down to defeat Dunes SC, Mandrem, by 6-5 margin via tie-breaker to move into the next round of 1st Siolim Villagers Cup organised by FC Siolim at Siolim ground, on Thursday.

The teams were locked in a 1-1 draw at the end of the regulation time.

Dunes SC opened their account in the very 2nd minute of play through the boots of Arun Naik only to find BAFF level terms in the 10th minute with Vinayak Rane scoring on entering the 18-yard box 1-1.

BAFF kept cool to win the match by 5-4 margin in the penalty shoot-out.

Vinayak Rane of BAFF received the man-of-the-match award from former Siolim-Marna Village Panchayat Sarpanch Sandesh Hadfadkar.
