Goa, Sept. 3 -- Panjim MLA and Revenue Minister Babush Monserrate said he met with newly appointed PWD Minister Digambar Kamat to highlight the poor condition of city roads and urged his intervention.

According to Monserrate, Kamat assured him that repair and maintenance work on Panjim's roads would be taken up soon.

Residents have been voicing concerns over potholes and deteriorating road conditions, especially during the monsoon, and Monserrate said he is closely following up the matter with the Public Works Department.
