Goa, June 7 -- As the Holy Spirit feast fair prepares to kick off at Margao's Old Market, district authorities have reiterated the need for strict adherence to High Court directives aimed at regulating the event. The guidelines, previously issued by the court, are intended to ensure public safety, effective sanitation, and minimal disruption during major feast celebrations, including the feasts of the Holy Spirit and Our Lady of Immaculate Conception.
Deputy Collector Avelina D'Sa Pereira has called on local bodies to enforce the court's orders both "in letter and in spirit." She stressed that the fair must be confined strictly to the designated locations outlined in the judicial ruling. "No deviation will be permitted," she warned.
