Goa, Oct. 16 -- An Australian racing driver is facing trial in Switzerland over allegations of sexually assaulting a nurse who cared for Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher. The incident reportedly occurred at the Schumacher family estate in Gland, with prosecutors stating the alleged assault took place on November 23, 2019, following a cocktail party.
The accused, a close friend of Schumacher's son Mick and in his late 30s, initially cooperated with authorities but has since become unreachable. Court documents reveal that the nurse, in her 30s and part of Schumacher's medical team since his 2013 skiing accident, was allegedly assaulted twice while unconscious in an upstairs bedroom.
