MAPUSA: Assnora United scored a comfortable 2-0 win over Augustias SC, Pomburpa, to move into the quarter-finals of the Peddem Bomm Cup Inter-Village Football Tournament 2025 organised by Peddem Bomm Sports Club, Anjuna, at Peddem ground, on Wednesday.

Ashish Kudnekar opened the scoring for Assonora United beating Augustias SC goalkeeper in the 16th minute of play.

Ashish Kudnekar made the issue safe for Assonora United as he added his name to the scorer's list in the 43rd minute of play in the second half.

Akash Parwar of Augustias SC was sent off from the match for receiving his second yellow card for reckless tackle.
