Goa, Sept. 7 -- Aryna Sabalenka successfully defended her U.S. Open crown on Saturday (September 6, 2025), defeating American eighth seed Amanda Anisimova 6-3, 7-6(3) in the women's singles final at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

The Belarusian star, now a four-time Grand Slam champion, became the first woman to win back-to-back U.S. Opens since Serena Williams' three-title run from 2012 to 2014.
