Goa, Dec. 11 -- Suspended Panchayat Secretary of Arpora-Nagoa, Raghuvir Bagkar, and the village panchayat's Sarpanch, Roshan Redkar, have filed anticipatory bail applications amid fears of imminent arrest by Anjuna Police in connection with the Birch by Romeo Lane fire incident.
The duo approached the court after learning that investigators are examining alleged lapses in permissions and oversight related to the popular Arpora establishment, where a major fire recently triggered a larger probe into licences, compliance, and accountability.
