Goa, Sept. 16 -- Apollo Tyres has been confirmed as the new jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team, taking over from Dream11 after the fantasy gaming company's exit due to a government ban on betting-related applications. The deal runs until 2027, with Apollo set to pay Rs.4.5 crore per match, surpassing Dream11's earlier Rs.4 crore.

This multi-year agreement is expected to give Apollo Tyres enormous global visibility, thanks to India's jam-packed international cricket calendar. It also stands as one of the most lucrative sponsorship deals in Indian cricket in recent years.
