Goa, Nov. 11 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa on Monday criticised the Pramod Sawant-led BJP government, alleging that the state is witnessing one of its worst law and order phases in recent years. At a press conference in Panaji, AAP Goa President Adv. Amit Palekar challenged Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to a public debate on governance and released a poster titled "The Failed CM."

Palekar claimed there has been a surge in serious crimes across Goa, including murders, shootings, gang clashes, and robberies. He alleged that the state's law enforcement system has weakened, saying, "Goa has never seen such a high rise in crime. This is a complete collapse of law and order."
