PANJIM, June 2 -- An altercation between two families at Indiranagar, Chimbel turned tragic and ended in the murder of one of the persons involved.

Murugan alias Ballu Gaunder, who was among those who were involved in the argument was fatally stabbed in the chest, on Wednesday night.

The Old Goa police arrested main accused Lingnath Palyekar alias Palkar in connection with the case. The others involved in the fight -Pratiksha alias Nilima Gaunder, Parshuram Gaunder and Hemant Palkar were also arrested by the police.
