VASCO, June 4 -- After Mangor Hill was declared as a containment zone, the State government has taken several steps in ward no XI and XVI to help the people living in these areas.
The government, in a statement issued on Wednesday, said a medical helpline number has been made operational - 8767114825.
A helpline for food and groceries has also been made operational - 8767103976
"The administration has taken over the supply of essential commodities on payment basis and the Horticulture Department has agreed to supply vegetables at Rs100, which is already pre-packed and will be handed over directly to the family. A box will be kept ready for the person to deposit the money," the press release says.
