Goa, Nov. 29 -- India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed that 338 Airbus A320 family aircraft are operating in the country, with 55% having undergone a critical flight-control software update to fix a safety glitch. Following an Airworthiness Directive by Airbus and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the DGCA mandated mandatory modifications from November 29 to ensure continued safe operations.
