Goa, Dec. 17 -- The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has accused the BJP-led government in Goa of allowing illegal nightclubs to operate in the state and failing to maintain law and order, holding Chief Minister Pramod Sawant responsible for the situation.

Addressing the media during the ongoing Zilla Parishad (ZP) election campaign, AICC in-charge for Goa, Manikrao Thakare, said the BJP government has failed to fulfil the promises made to the people. He asserted that public dissatisfaction would reflect in the ZP polls, where voters would "teach the BJP a lesson."
