India, Jan. 27 -- Ahead of the 2027 Goa Assembly elections, senior leader Micky Pacheco has issued a strong reality check to the Congress leadership, voicing serious concerns over the lack of recognition for grassroots workers, weak organisational follow-up and what he termed flawed alliance politics.
Referring to the party's poor performance in recent Lok Sabha and Zilla Parishad elections, Pacheco said selective engagement with workers during election periods and prolonged silence after electoral defeats have severely demoralised committed leaders and cadre at the ground level.
