Goa, Nov. 3 -- After a disturbing incident at a Vagator nightclub where tourists, including young women from Varanasi, were allegedly assaulted by club staff, Goa Police have decided to meet hospitality stakeholders to prevent such occurrences. DGP Alok Kumar said the meeting will focus on ensuring unruly customers are managed in a safe and legal manner. "Sometimes intervention is required, but beyond a point, the police should be involved. Taking the law into your own hands is unacceptable," he stated. Kumar added that strict legal action has already been taken against those involved in the assault.
