Goa, Oct. 31 -- Activist Swapnesh Sherlekar appeared before the Investigating Officer at Panaji Police Station on Thursday, following a High Court directive. The FIR against Sherlekar was filed on September 29 after BJP leader Kareena Shirodkar accused him of making objectionable remarks against BJP leaders and Navratri celebrations in a viral video. Several activists gathered outside the station in solidarity with Sherlekar, calling the action against him an attack on free expression. Police officials confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and Sherlekar has been cooperating fully with the inquiry.
