Goa, Dec. 18 -- Claiming large-scale irregularities in Goa's nightlife sector, AAP MLA Capt. Venzy Viegas alleged that over 100 illegal clubs are operating in the state with political backing. Addressing the issue, he said the Luthra brothers allegedly received preferential treatment from the police during their custody. Viegas accused authorities of turning a blind eye to violations while acting selectively in certain cases. He further alleged that actor Shilpa Shetty's Goa club 'Bastian' was built in a no-development zone, demanding strict action and uniform enforcement of laws across the state.
