PANJIM, Jan. 24 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) delegation on Saturday met freedom fighters Suresh Parodkar and Nagesh Chari, who are on fast-unto-death after the Pramod Sawant government continued to deny the jobs and benefits that were promised to the children of freedom fighters.
Extending support to children of freedom fighters protesting at Azad Maidan, Panjim, AAP leader Valmiki Naik said, "Even after sacrificing so much to give us freedom from foreign rule, our freedom fighters were forced to risk their lives yet again, that too for something that was rightfully due to them."
