Goa, Dec. 9 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has questioned why the ruling BJP is criticising its candidate selection for the 20 December ZP elections. Goa AAP president Adv. Amit Palekar said the BJP appears nervous about losing ground in key constituencies and is therefore targeting AAP's choices. After filing nominations in Chimbel, Santa Cruz, and Taleigao, Palekar said the Chimbel MLA had failed to address crucial issues such as water shortages and growing garbage problems. AAP has nominated Maria Cristalina Antao in Chimbel, Rajashri Chari in Santa Cruz, and Durga Silva in Taleigao.
