Goa, April 22 -- On December 19, 1961 Goa gained its freedom from colonialism, and two years later democracy was ushered in. Through free and fair elections we, the Goan people, got the untrammeled right to decide our own future, by electing leaders of our choice, who would do for Goa what was best for it. And 57 years later, what has been the result of that right? Are we niz Goenkars proud of where Goa stands today?
