Goa, July 28 -- Speaking to reporters, Sawant said the government will soon begin inspections of these institutions to assess infrastructure, compliance standards, and other operational aspects. "We will review and decide on important aspects such as fee structures, teacher salaries, grant eligibility, and the regularisation of contractual staff," he stated.

The move is part of the government's broader plan to bring uniformity and accountability to the early childhood education sector, in line with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP).

Sawant assured that the government's intention is to ensure quality pre-primary education while protecting the interests of both educators and parents.
