Goa, Sept. 21 -- A shocking murder in Baina has left the local community stunned after 64-year-old Mahirunissa was brutally stabbed to death inside her residence at Nayak Building on Sunday afternoon. The crime took place in her third-floor flat, where she was reportedly alone at the time of the attack. According to the victim's son, the accused-described as a known alcoholic in the locality-allegedly entered the flat and attacked her with a knife, inflicting fatal injuries. Neighbours were alerted after hearing commotion, but by the time help arrived, the elderly woman had already succumbed to her wounds.
