QUEPEM, March 6 -- Forty two nominations are received from 33 candidates for Quepem municipal Council elections, on Friday taking the total to 47.
Former chairpersons Dayesh Naik, Filu Dcosta and Raul Perera were the prominent persons who have filed the nominations among others.
Dayesh Naik said, "I am very much confident of winning the seat of my ward. I always work for people and development of our municipal ward and with the support and prayers of those people, I will definitely win.
