300 turn up to be frontline COVID warriors
PANJIM, April 16 -- That nursing is a noble profession was proven on Thursday when nearly 300 young women turned up at the Directorate of Health Services for a walk-in interview to work in the COVID hospital at Margao and be frontline COVID warriors.
Though 300 nurses appeared for the walk-in interview, Directorate of Health Services is likely to initially recruit 70 staff nurses to work in the South Goa District Hospital, Margao, which has been converted into a COVID hospital.
