India, Feb. 2 -- A tragic self-accident on the Zuari flyover claimed the life of 25-year-old Sarvesh Borkar from Guddemol, Sarvordem, Curchorem, on Sunday evening. Riding his motorcycle towards Panjim, he lost control at a sharp turn past the Toyota showroom around 7:20 PM.

Police reports indicate excessive speed caused the bike to skid 40-50 meters, with Sarvesh ejected and dragged 10-15 meters. He suffered gruesome injuries, including amputation of both legs, and was declared dead on arrival at Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim.

Verna Police received a wireless alert from Casualty Police Bambolim about an unidentified fatality from Zuari Bridge. PSI Carey Fernandes rushed to GMC, confirmed identity as Sarvesh, son of Pradeep Borkar....
