Goa, July 14 -- Valpoi police have arrested a 23-year-old man from Honda for allegedly possessing 631 grams of suspected ganja. The estimated street value of the seized narcotics is Rs.63,100.

The arrest was made during a routine operation, and the contraband has been sent for further analysis. Authorities confirmed that a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered.

Further investigation is ongoing to determine the source of the drugs and whether the accused is linked to a larger distribution network.
