Goa, Dec. 26 -- Fifteen people were injured in a shocking attack at a tire factory in Mishima, central Japan, on Friday, local media reported. Eight were stabbed, while seven were harmed by a sprayed chemical, reportedly bleach. According to Kyodo News Agency, a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Witnesses say he carried a survival knife and wore a gas mask. Emergency services transported 14 victims to hospitals, said Tomoharu Sugiyama of Mishima's firefighting department. The factory, operated by Yokohama Rubber Co., produces tires for trucks and buses.
