Goa, May 11 -- Congress MP Shashi Tharoor took a poetic dig at Pakistan after it violated the ceasefire mere hours after agreeing to it. Posting a Hindi couplet on X, he wrote: "Uski fitrat hai mukar jaane ki, uske vaade pe yakeen kaise karu" ("It's their nature to backtrack on promises-how can I trust their word?"). Tharoor's remarks came amid rising tensions, as India and Pakistan had just reached a ceasefire agreement following Islamabad's request on Saturday, after days of cross-border strikes and hostilities.
