At the Kala Academy Goa's One Act Play Competition 2025-26 for high school students in the English category, the play 'Urja' from GVM's Rajmata Padmavati Raje Saundekar High School, Ramnathi, Bandora, Ponda, stood out and received top honours. 'Urja' won the first Prize for Best Performance, and also claimed multiple individual awards. Dhanvi D Tamse, who played the role of 'Mother', won the first Prize for Best Acting - Female, while Sara P Naik received a merit certificate for her performance in the play. The play's direction by Anant S Kamat Bambolkar earned him the first Prize for Best Direction, and Yash Naik won the Best Setting award for his contribution.
