The Blue Trail centres on Tereza, a 77-year-old woman who resists a government relocation program designed for the elderly, defying a forced retirement and choosing instead to embark on a deeply personal journey through the Amazon. As her final wish, she plans to take her first-ever aeroplane ride, but when permission is denied, she clandestinely travels by boat, a metaphorical and literal odyssey through untouched landscapes and memories.
