Goa, Nov. 12 -- FC Goa's star defender Sandesh Jhingan and several leading Indian footballers have taken to social media appealing for the revival of the Indian Super League (ISL) and urging action to save Indian football.

Their collective plea comes after the All India Football Federation (AIFF) reportedly failed to attract any bids for the league's commercial rights for the next 15 years, raising concerns about the future of India's premier football competition.
