Goa, July 19 -- In a disturbing case from Delhi's Uttam Nagar, what first appeared to be an accidental electrocution has been revealed as a cold-blooded, premeditated murder orchestrated by the victim's wife and her lover.

The victim, 36-year-old Karan Dev, was rushed to Mata Rooprani Maggo Hospital on July 13 after allegedly suffering an electric shock. His death initially raised no alarms within the family, who even declined a post-mortem, believing it to be a tragic accident.

However, police grew suspicious due to Karan's relatively young age and the circumstances surrounding his death. Their insistence on a post-mortem and a subsequent complaint from Karan's brother led to the unravelling of a chilling murder plot.
