Brief Summary: Flexible ureterorenoscopy (FURS) is now recommended for the treatment of kidney stones smaller than 20 mm, as an alternative to extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) and in combination with percutanous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for stones larger than 20 mm.
