Dehradun, Jan. 19 -- Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi held a meeting with officials of the Tourism Department and District Administration regarding the construction of the proposed Doon-Mussoorie Ropeway at his Camp Office on Tuesday.

Officials informed him that all the formalities related to the Ropeway have been completed. Work on the LTP (Lower Terminal Point) has started. The construction work would be completed by November 2026. The ropeway will be from Purkul village in Dehradun to Gandhi Chowk in Mussoorie. The length of the entire ropeway is about 5.5 km. Approximately Rs 300 crore will be spent on this project.
