Dehradun, Oct. 31 -- Forest Research Institute celebrated the 144th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, here, today.

On the occasion, all officers and staff of Forest Research Institute assembled in the Convocation Hall. Arun Singh Rawat, Director, FRI, paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and a pledge to work for Unity of the Nation and internal security was taken by all the officers and employees.

This was followed by a Run for Unity around the Main Building of the FRI.
