Liberia, Sept. 17 -- Lofa and Nimba Counties - The Executive Officer of Women Solidarity Incorporated, a national women-focused non-governmental and civil society organization formed to mitigate abuses and exploitation of women and girls, said the rising wave of rape cases in the country was becoming worrisome.

Describing rape as violent, barbaric and wicked, Caroline Armah, said all hands must be on deck to put stop to this ungodly act of rape in the society. "It is becoming worrisome and it must involve everyone," she said.
