Monrovia, June 21 -- Credible reports coming from Sierra Leone are that the deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) has resurfaced in that next-door neighboring country.

According to

the Sierra Leonean Government's Ministry of Health and Sanitation's press

release issued Thursday, June 20, there are at least "two confirmed cases" of

EVD in Freetown, Sierra Leone's capital city.

"There have

been a total of five confirmed laboratory cases in Sierra Leone, three cases from

Bo District and two cases in the Western Area Urban (Freetown)," the Health and

Sanitation's release further stated.

Sierra Leone's

Bo District, which has the worst, reported cases so far, is on the border with

Liberia's Grand Cape Mount County.
