MONROVIA, June 17 -- The Concerned Community of BWI Alumni, a group of BWI graduates seeking the resolution of the leadership crisis at the institute, is again appealing to President George Manneh Weah to take action on the matter to prevent the school from falling into a more serious crisis that could cost the government some economic losses.

It can be recalled that the BWI Principal, Attorney

Harris Fomba Tarnue, was suspended a month ago by the Minister of Education and

some members of the institute's board.

But under the law creating BWI, which was last revised in

1975, only the President of Liberia who is the Chairman Ex-Officio of the

school's board, has the authority to appoint and remove the Principal.
