Monrovia, March 22 -- As opposing arguments ensue between state and defense lawyers over the validity of the bail filed to release five indicted Central Bank of Liberia officials, the lawyer of former CBL Governor Milton Weeks insists his client's bond is sufficient.

The claim of the insufficiency of the defendants bond was announced last week when Solicitor General Daku Mulbah filed a seven-count motion before the court taking exception to the criminal appearance bonds.

The bond was filed on behalf of co-defendants Weeks, Charles Sirleaf, Dorbor Hagba, Richard Walker and Joseph Dennis.
