Monrovia, Aug. 16 -- In continuation of the Liberia National Police Road Safety campaign, its Traffic Section is organizing Community Road Safety Quizzing, Debate, Football and Kickball tournaments in six Communities under the theme: "RAISING ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS IN THE COMMUNITY.
The campaign is
aimed at getting the Communities involved with road safety awareness and
serving as respective road safety Ambassadors.
The Communities
include Bassa Community, Perry Street, Jallah Town, Camp Johnson Road, Buzzy
Quarters and Soniwein Community, all located in Monrovia.
The exercise is
being conducted in two phases and will be officially launched on August 16,
2019, at the Bassa Community Town Hall, beginning with a street parade, from
