MONROVIA, Feb. 27 -- FrontPageAfrica has gathered that former President George Weah and his wife, Madam Clar Weah, along with their entourage, were stopped from using the recently dedicated VIP lounge at the Roberts International Airport.

The lounge was constructed by ex-President Weah and dedicated in December just a few weeks before leaving office.

FrontPageAfrica has not been able to establish the reason why the ex-president was barred from using the lounge.

Sekou Kalasco, the special aide to the former President, told FrontPageAfrica that they were in Accra, Ghana, when they received a call from one of Weah's security personnel informing them that the former President wouldn't be allowed to use the new VIP Lounge.
