Sri Lanka, Nov. 5 -- Strengthening the Sri Lanka Tourism sector, LOT Polish Airlines announced that it will operate direct flights to Colombo from Warsaw from November 3.LOT will fly from Warsaw to Sri Lanka with flights being operated seasonally, with three weekly flights between November 3 and March 28, on its modern fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

Colombo will be LOT's 6th long-haul Asian destination for LOT and Heyleys will be the GSA for the airline. Annually, more than 1.8 million passengers travel between Europe and Colombo.
