Sri Lanka, May 23 -- The Central Bank has arranged three swaps; USD 400 million with the RBI, USD 1 billion equivalent with Central Bank of Qatar in Rial, and USD 1.7 billion equivalent with the Peoples Bank of China in Yuan for further reassurance to meet the country's debt obligations, Central Bank Governor, Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy said."These swaps which we have not used give us further reassurance in terms of our capacity to meet our debt obligations," Dr. Coomaraswamy said, answering questions during a lecture on the Central Bank Annual report last week.
