The first song from Panipat is here. Called Mard Maratha, the song is all about Marathas and their 'aan baan shaan'. And like most of Ashutosh Gowarikar songs, this was one grand and majestic.
Mard Maratha is a long description about what being a Maratha embodies. They had been known as one of the fiercest fighters in the history of the nation and the song upholds the idea and the shaan of Maratha. Even though it is called Mard Maratha, the song also talks about Marathi women who can take up swords whenever necessary!
