India, Aug. 16 -- War 2 hit cinemas on August 14, along with Rajinikanth's Coolie. War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the action thriller is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe and a sequel to the 2019 film War. Although the film was one of the most-awaited films of 2025, it has been receiving mixed responses from the audience and critics. On August 16, Hrithik and Jr NTR shared notes where they expressed their gratitude for all the love they have been receiving for the film, but in the comments, netizens had mixed responses.
