India, Dec. 4 -- Vilaayath Budha was one of the most-anticipated films of Malayalam actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran that was in the making for several years. After the demise of filmmaker Sachy, who conceived the original idea, Jayan Nambiar took over the reins and released the film on November 21, 2025. However, the result was disappointing with Vilaayath Budha failing to impress audiences or critics. The Prithviraj-starrer has only collected Rs 8.58 crore during its nearly two-week run at the box office, as per Sacnilk, and with biggies such as Mammootty's Kalamkaval set to release, Vilaayath Budha is set to end its box office run and is unlikely to touch even double digits of Rs 10 crore.
