It was supposed to be the big night for Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda and his upcoming film Kingdom. But the Kingdom pre-release event held on July 28, 2025, put the spotlight on Venkitesh VP, who up until then was unknown to most people in Telugu states. Venkitesh VP, who has featured in Malayalam films, stole the limelight with a moving speech that has now gone viral on social media. One of the key statements that Venkitesh made was that Kingdom is the first film that opened the caravan door for me. This statement has particulary struck a chord with people, seeing it as a proof that hard work does pay off.
